Senior Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Accountant will manage daily revenue accounting, ensuring IFRS compliance, accurate ledger postings, and comprehensive billing and collection oversight while providing analytical insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate posting of revenue transactions into the General Ledger daily
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and receivables reports
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards
• Support daily billing processes for corporate, airtime, interconnect, and BSMS partners
• Monitor automated billing and receipting systems and resolve issues promptly
• Assist in debt management, collections, and reconciliation of receivables
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve revenue performance
• Identify gaps in revenue reporting processes and recommend improvements
