The role involves managing customer communications regarding shipment status while preparing and verifying all required shipping documents, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring smooth execution of import and export operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary customer contact for shipment status inquiries
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin and customs clearance papers
- Coordinate document submissions with customs brokers, shipping lines, and government authorities
- Monitor import/export shipments from booking to delivery, tracking vessel schedules and container movements
