About the Role

The Marketing Manager will design and execute trade marketing strategies to boost ROMEL’s brand presence, drive retail sales, and strengthen distributor relationships across Ethiopia.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual trade marketing strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Create quarterly and monthly activation plans
  • Identify growth opportunities by channel, region, and customer segment
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities
  • Recommend initiatives to increase competitive advantage
  • Develop channel-specific marketing programs
  • Implement merchandising standards and ensure consistent product display
  • Design and deploy POSM materials
  • Conduct retail audits for compliance
  • Improve product visibility and shelf presence
  • Manage distributor activation plans and incentive programs
  • Coordinate trade promotions and measure ROI
  • Plan and execute product launch activities
  • Gather market intelligence and analyze customer purchasing behavior
  • Support sales teams with training and promotional tools
  • Prepare and manage annual trade marketing budget
