Utility Operator responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining key plant utilities—boiler, chiller, generator, and compressor—to maximize production efficiency while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor utility machinery to maximize efficiency
- Maintain feed water quality for boilers, fuel levels for generators, gas pressure for chillers, and working pressure for compressors
- Conduct inspections every two hours and perform preventive maintenance
- Record operational parameters and report deviations to the utility engineer
- Diagnose and correct utility issues or notify engineers for repairs
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct risk assessments
- Assist EHS and staff association in maintaining a hazard-free environment
