Procurement Head - Raw Material

About the Role

Lead the raw material procurement function, managing both domestic and import categories to achieve cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supply chain teams to secure appropriate PI’s from foreign suppliers and submit for forex allocation
• Schedule, control and monitor domestic and import category purchases ensuring lowest TCO while managing quality and freight optimization
• Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and ensure JIT management controls
• Support product development initiatives and contribute to cost of ownership analysis
• Manage procurement costs, inventory turnover and cycle times
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Participate in company management meetings and cross‑functional committees
• Collaborate with technical, sales and marketing teams for sourcing decisions
• Oversee contract management, invoice reconciliation and payment processes
