The Area Sales Manager leads secondary sales operations, manages distributor teams, optimizes sales performance across the region, and builds strong retailer partnerships to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Follow up and manage secondary sales from distributor to general trade
- Communicate sales performance reports to team and distributors
- Support distributor sell‑out, daily order delivery and primary orders
- Manage a team of distributor sales representatives and optimize their territory performance
- Maintain stock, demand forecasting, credit management and profitability for key accounts
- Develop relationships with retailers and wholesalers in the area
- Analyze KPI and competitor reports and provide actionable insights
