The Area Sales Manager oversees secondary sales operations in the Adama region, leading distributor teams to meet revenue and SKU targets while ensuring efficient stock management, performance reporting, and strong retailer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage secondary sales from distributors to general trade
- Report sales performance to team and distributors
- Support distributor sell‑out, delivery and primary orders
- Coordinate with sales staff and distributors weekly/monthly
- Lead a team of distributor sales representatives
- Handle stock, order, demand forecasting and credit management
- Build relationships with key retailers and wholesalers
- Develop RTM database and account maintenance
- Analyze KPI reports and competitor activity
- Coach and motivate distributor teams
- Ensure compliance with company EHS rules
- Maintain office communication via email and Telegram
