The Senior Proposal Development Specialist will design, develop, and submit high‑quality donor proposals, manage the proposal pipeline, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and provide mentorship to junior writers.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and submission of technical and financial proposals for donors
- Conduct donor mapping and identify funding opportunities
- Develop concept notes, expressions of interest, and full proposals
- Coordinate with sector experts, finance teams, and partners in proposal development
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines and submission requirements
- Review and edit proposal drafts for quality and competitiveness
- Develop project logframes, theories of change, and implementation frameworks
- Support negotiation and clarification processes with donors
- Maintain a proposal pipeline and submission tracker
- Provide technical guidance to junior proposal writers
