About the Role

The IT Service Officer delivers first-line technical support, maintains hardware and software infrastructure, troubleshoots issues, monitors system performance, and ensures compliance with IT policies to keep the organization’s technology services running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and user-related technical problems
  • Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems and services
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and update system documentation
  • Assist in implementing system upgrades, backups, and security measures
  • Provide user support and basic IT training when required
  • Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment and systems
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures
