About the Role

The Payroll & Tax Officer manages employee salaries, ensures compliance with labor and tax regulations, handles payroll processing, prepares reports, and supports tax audits within the hotel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Calculate salaries and deductions
  • Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data
  • Verify attendance, leave records, and timesheets before payroll processing
  • Prepare and distribute pay slips
  • Calculate and withhold employee income taxes and other statutory deductions
  • Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and tax liabilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports
  • Assist in year-end reporting and tax documentation
  • Maintain accurate records for internal and external audits
  • Explain payroll calculations and tax-related matters to employees
