About the Role

Lead the implementation of child protection programs within a woreda, overseeing training, case management, community awareness, and coordination to strengthen the protection environment for children in humanitarian settings.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee child protection activities in assigned woreda
  • Organize and facilitate trainings on PFA, case management, teacher guidance, and child-led clubs
  • Support establishment of school-based structures such as Child Protection Desks and PTSAs
  • Facilitate community-level awareness campaigns on child protection risks and mental health
  • Manage child protection case referrals and coordinate with local authorities and social workers
  • Participate in multi-sectoral coordination forums and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Document activities, prepare progress reports, and monitor target schools for child safety
