About the Role

The Project Officer, MNCH will lead day‑to‑day activities for maternal, newborn, and child health initiatives in Buno Badelle Zone, providing technical support, monitoring, capacity building, and quality assurance to improve service delivery and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for MNCH project launch and implementation
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation activities and analyze performance data
  • Build capacity of PHCUs and health workers through training and coaching
  • Coordinate with woreda health offices and community structures to harmonize efforts
  • Ensure quality of care and data standards are met
  • Facilitate joint supportive supervisions and steering committee meetings
  • Support community engagement and mobilization strategies
  • Maintain project documentation and reports
