The Coordinator, Quality Assurance and Training will oversee the Smart Start and IUCD scale‑up program in Hawassa, ensuring high‑quality family planning services through regional QA coordination, training facilitation, and partnership management within Ethiopia’s public health system.
Responsibilities
- Lead Smart Start and IUCD scale‑up initiatives across regions
- Coordinate regional QA and training activities for FP/SRH services
- Implement quality of care and training with health bureaus
- Support system setup for client-provider safety
- Cascade QA/QI tools, SOPs, and tracking systems
- Monitor and assess service provider competency
- Conduct quality evaluations/audits and follow up on action plans
- Ensure equitable access to modern contraception for adolescents
- Develop and execute quality‑of‑care evaluation plans
- Build relationships with regional health bureaus and NGOs
- Design training roadmaps and support Master TOT cascades
- Maintain dashboards of trained staff
- Audit training delivery quality
- Strengthen TWGs for material revision and enrichment
