The Coordinator oversees quality assurance and training for PSI Ethiopia’s Smart Start and IUCD scale‑up program, ensuring high‑quality family planning services across regions through coordination, evaluation, and capacity building.
Responsibilities
- Lead Smart Start and IUCD scale‑up initiatives
- Coordinate regional QA and training activities
- Implement quality of care and training programs
- Support health offices in client-provider safety systems
- Cascade QA/QI tools and SOPs
- Monitor and assess service provider competency
- Evaluate and audit quality of care
- Develop quality evaluation plans and regulatory inspections
- Prepare operational plans and reports
- Generate insights on adolescent girls’ service experiences
- Standardize clinical services for married adolescents
- Report adverse events
- Build relationships with regional health bureaus and NGOs
- Design training roadmaps and support Master TOT cascades
- Document and analyze training data
- Support dashboards for trained staff
- Strengthen TWGs
- Integrate smart start training into PHCUs
