The Sanitation and Hygiene Officer will provide frontline technical leadership in Gambella, delivering climate‑resilient, gender‑transformative WASH interventions, driving community engagement, behavior change and partnership building to achieve project targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead community-level sanitation and hygiene programming under Climate Proof Water4Food Project
- Collaborate with WASH officers, government offices and communities for coordinated interventions
- Drive behavior change and sustainability of sanitation practices
- Strengthen partnerships with stakeholders and support capacity development
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding, gender equality and inclusion policies
