About the Role

The Private Sector Advisor will spearhead Plan International’s strategy to mobilize private capital and create inclusive economic growth, focusing on youth employment, climate resilience, and gender-responsive outcomes across Ethiopia.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of private sector engagement strategy
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with investors and financial institutions
• Analyze labor markets, value chains, and economic ecosystems
• Translate market insights into scalable business models and investment opportunities
• Ensure commercial viability and sustainability of initiatives
• Represent the organization in high-level forums and donor meetings
• Build capacity within staff on market systems development
