MERL Coordinator – SRH Alliance

About the Role

The MERL Coordinator will lead the design and implementation of robust monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and accountability systems for the SRH Alliance, ensuring alignment with donor requirements, strengthening accountability mechanisms, building partner capacity, and driving evidence-based decision-making across eight countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the MERL framework and ensure alignment with donor requirements
• Coordinate baseline, midline, endline evaluations and outcome harvesting
• Develop and harmonize MERL tools, guidelines, indicators and reporting systems
• Ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, visualization and reporting
• Produce timely donor and internal reports, dashboards and learning products
• Strengthen accountability systems including community feedback mechanisms
• Promote adaptive management and evidence generation for program improvement
• Build capacity of staff and partners in RBM, MERL methodologies and digital tools
• Integrate gender equality, disability inclusion, youth participation, conflict sensitivity and climate adaptation into MERL systems
• Lead knowledge-sharing events and dissemination workshops
• Represent the Alliance in technical groups and donor forums
