About the Role

The Finance Assistant supports daily administrative and financial duties in Gambella, managing petty cash, filing documents, processing payments, and assisting the finance officer with tax and audit tasks while upholding safeguarding and GEI standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage petty cash fund and work advances
  • Collect bank statements and submit for recording
  • File and scan financial documents to OneDrive
  • Process payments to suppliers and partners
  • Assist Program Area Finance Officer with tax and pension reporting
  • Support audit facilitation and safeguarding policies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance
