About the Role

The Accountat role oversees all accounting functions, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, compliance, and financial reporting while supervising junior staff and coordinating with finance leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage general ledger ensuring accurate entries
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable
  • Monitor cash flow and perform bank reconciliations
  • Ensure proper recording of revenues and expenses
  • Handle petty cash and voucher management
  • Collect receipts and formulate tax schedules
  • Prepare for audit readiness and archiving
  • Support budget preparation and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
  • Prepare and review payroll and statutory payments
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
  • Maintain proper financial documentation and reporting system
  • Analyze financial data to provide management reports
  • Supervise junior accounting staff
