The Storekeeper ensures the seamless receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of medical consumables and equipment, maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming medical supplies
- Store items following FEFO/FIFO principles and maintain cold-chain integrity
- Issue goods to departments per authorized requisitions
- Conduct daily and monthly inventory reconciliations
- Prepare stock status and inventory reports
- Coordinate with procurement for reordering and supplier communication
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical and finance teams for demand forecasting
