A senior gastroenterologist will provide expert diagnosis, endoscopic treatment, and multidisciplinary care for gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions at a modern diagnostic center in Hargeisa.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for gastrointestinal disorders.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as PUD, IBD, cirrhosis, hepatitis, and GI malignancies.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy).
- Develop individualized management plans and coordinate long‑term care.
- Act as primary specialist for GI emergencies and collaborate with ICU teams.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and residents.
- Lead clinical governance activities including audits and protocol development.
- Engage in clinical research and maintain detailed medical records.
