The role involves providing structured after‑school and weekend tutoring services for vulnerable primary school children, including tutor assignment, lesson planning, attendance monitoring, progress reporting, and ensuring a child‑safe learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assign qualified tutors for specified grade levels
- Organize and deliver tutorial classes after school, on weekends or agreed periods
- Support students in key subjects based on academic needs
- Prepare lesson plans and tutorial schedules with PATH coordination
- Monitor student attendance during sessions
- Track participation, progress, and learning improvement
- Prepare and submit monthly student progress reports and tutor/teacher reports
- Conduct regular check-in meetings with tutors to discuss class progress
- Provide guidance on lesson planning, teaching methods, and classroom management
- Ensure child-friendly, inclusive, respectful, and safe tutorial sessions
- Communicate promptly about attendance or safeguarding concerns
- Maintain proper documentation of all tutorial activities
