Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system for a GEF-funded project, ensuring data integrity, reporting compliance, and stakeholder engagement to assess impact and inform decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement M&E framework aligned with GEF and UNEP guidelines
- Establish data collection mechanisms and performance indicators
- Develop tools for data gathering, analysis, and reporting
- Monitor Gender Action Plan, social and environmental safeguards, and grievance redress mechanism
- Ensure timely data validation and analysis
- Contribute to independent results verification and evaluations
- Conduct quarterly field missions to assess progress
- Prepare periodic M&E reports and recommendations
- Provide technical support and training on M&E best practices
- Engage stakeholders in participatory M&E processes
