The role focuses on integrating gender considerations and ensuring compliance with environmental and social safeguards for a PENHA project in Ethiopia, through planning, training, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor Gender Action Plan tools
- Train project staff on gender mainstreaming
- Identify and mitigate gender-related risks
- Conduct field monitoring of gender implementation
- Prepare periodic gender reports
- Develop and oversee environmental & social safeguard plans
- Perform impact assessments and risk mitigation
- Manage grievance redress mechanisms
- Engage stakeholders and government agencies
