About the Role

The Protection (GBV Response) Officer will design, implement, and monitor women and girls friendly spaces and psychosocial support activities, ensuring safe access to protection services while fostering community participation and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments for protection activities
  • Implement WGFS risk mitigation measures
  • Facilitate psychosocial support sessions
  • Provide GBV referrals and follow‑up
  • Maintain confidential referral database
  • Engage community in safety mapping and feedback mechanisms
  • Prepare activity and referral reports
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies
