The Partnership and Advocacy Officer will support Oxfam’s refugee leadership project in Gambella by managing partnerships and grants with local organizations, building partner capacity, and leading advocacy efforts to promote localization. The role involves coordinating training, monitoring performance, preparing reports, and engaging stakeholders to advance refugee participation and access to resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage partnership agreements, MOUs and sub-grants with Refugee-Led and Women-Led Organizations
- Strengthen long‑term engagement and capacity of partners through training, mentoring and coaching
- Track and report on partner performance, budgets and compliance with donor regulations
- Develop and implement advocacy initiatives to promote localization principles and amplify refugee voices
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement with UN agencies, RRS and humanitarian platforms
- Prepare donor reports, partnership updates and evidence‑based policy briefs
