A mid‑level specialist responsible for designing, deploying, monitoring and securing enterprise LAN/WAN networks, integrating cloud connectivity, managing incidents and change processes, and supporting both internal operations and client‑facing projects within OVID IT.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and capacity using enterprise tools
- Implement security controls such as VLANs, ACLs, firewall policies, IPS/IDS and VPN tunnels
- Manage ISP relationships and WAN connectivity
- Lead incident response for network faults and outages within SLAs
- Plan capacity and perform traffic analysis for growth decisions
- Maintain documentation of topology, IPAM, device inventory and configuration records
- Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity
- Assist in client network assessments, design proposals and managed services delivery
