Accountant

About the Role

Senior Accountant responsible for end‑to‑end accounting operations across diverse clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local tax laws while driving process efficiencies and leading a small team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile client financial transactions per accounting standards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and variance analyses
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processing and reconciliations
• Coordinate statutory tax filings (VAT, withholding, profit tax) and maintain regulatory compliance
• Conduct bank reconciliations, payroll processing and foreign currency management
• Maintain inventory records and develop cost accounting frameworks
• Calculate import landed costs and advise on tariff impacts
• Implement internal controls and improve accounting workflows
• Lead and mentor junior staff and serve as primary client liaison
