Lead trainer/consultant tasked with designing and delivering a public interest journalism module focused on OSINT, investigation, verification, and audience relevance for Ethiopian media houses participating in the AMIRP Fellowship.
Responsibilities
- Review program documents and assess editorial needs
- Design a practical public interest journalism module for two cohorts
- Develop exercises, templates, checklists, and guidance notes
- Create assignments and thematic outputs for newsroom use
- Conduct ToT sessions with assistant trainers
- Co‑facilitate training workshops and clinics
- Provide limited follow-up support to media houses
- Document learning outcomes and recommendations
