The Senior Engineer will support credit decisions by valuing collateral properties and overseeing construction projects for the microfinance institution’s offices and branches.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and prepare property valuations
- Prepare valuation reports
- Develop BOQs and technical specifications for construction projects
- Monitor zoning regulations and assess impact on valuations
- Recommend improvements to valuation guidelines
- Prepare project cost estimates and evaluate remaining work
- Conduct market surveys on construction materials and labor costs
- Design office layouts, branch designs, and drawings
- Conduct bid evaluations and recommend contractors
- Support land acquisition and pre-feasibility studies
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to plans, budgets, and timelines
