The Finance Officer manages all field-level finance and accounting functions for the Skills for Employment in Tigray project, ensuring accurate recordâkeeping, donor compliance, cash management, procurement oversight, and financial reporting while coordinating with partners and government bodies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage field office cash flows, including salaries and vendor payments.
- Prepare timely financial reports and ensure compliance with donor and Ethiopian regulations.
- Oversee procurement documentation and support event-based finance administration.
- Coordinate with partner organisations and government institutions to verify shared expenditures and financial transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and risk management for project activities.
