The role involves designing, producing, and broadcasting culturally appropriate radio awareness programs on GBV and CRSV to increase community understanding and support survivor-centered services in conflict-affected regions of Ethiopia.
Responsibilities
- Develop work plan and broadcast schedule
- Prepare program concepts, scripts, key messages, and discussion guides
- Produce 3–4 interactive radio programs (45–60 minutes each)
- Create short PSAs if needed
- Broadcast approved programs in local languages during peak hours
- Promote audience engagement through call-in sessions
- Submit airtime schedules, broadcast confirmations, and a final report
