The Technical Trainer designs, delivers, and maintains training programs for service engineers, technicians, and customers to enhance technical capabilities and standardize maintenance procedures across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical training modules for printers, copiers and related equipment
- Conduct classroom and hands‑on training sessions
- Deliver onboarding training for new technicians
- Assess skill gaps within technical teams
- Design improvement plans and refresher training programs
- Support certification and competency development initiatives
- Prepare training manuals, guides and SOPs
- Update training materials based on new products and technologies
- Maintain training records and attendance reports
- Support complex technical troubleshooting when required
- Collaborate with service engineering teams on recurring issues
- Provide feedback to management on product/service improvements
- Evaluate trainee performance through tests and practical assessments
- Track improvement in service quality and technician performance
- Recommend certification or skill advancement decisions
