Responsibilities
- Regulate and monitor political parties to ensure compliance with electoral laws
- Facilitate equitable access to resources and media for all parties
- Register and accredit political parties
- Monitor campaign finance and conduct of elections
- Allocate public funding transparently
- Provide capacity-building and training to parties
- Engage in constructive dialogue and dispute resolution
- Ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical standards in department operations
