Responsible for operating water well drilling rigs, installing well components, performing maintenance, and conducting performance assessments to deliver functional wells for residential, commercial, industrial, and environmental purposes.
Responsibilities
- Review client requirements and site locations for water wells
- Operate drilling rigs to bore residential, commercial, industrial, and environmental assessment wells
- Document encountered geological formations
- Clean and disinfect wells prior to use
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance on rigs and equipment
- Install, test, maintain, and repair well pumps and piping systems
- Conduct pumping tests to assess well performance
- Provide additional drilling services such as repair or dismantling of existing structures
