An Intermediate Accountant will manage financial records, perform journal entries, support month‑end and year‑end closings, oversee cash flow reporting, handle tax filings, and maintain compliance with Ethiopian tax laws within the import and export sector.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow report
- Prepare and review VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory tax filings
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
