The Sales & Distribution Officer is responsible for driving sales growth across designated territories, managing franchised shop performance, building partner relationships, ensuring product availability, and providing market intelligence to support distribution excellence in Ethiopia.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve assigned sales targets across designated territories
- Support and monitor performance of Safaricom franchised shops within assigned regions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchise partners, retailers, and field sales teams
- Ensure continuous availability and effective distribution of Safaricom products and services
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency within assigned outlets
- Identify new market opportunities and support territory expansion initiatives
- Conduct regular field visits and provide operational support to franchise shops
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Safaricom operational standards
