About the Role

The Senior Accountant oversees comprehensive financial reporting, ensures regulatory compliance, manages closing cycles, supports audits, and mentors staff while continuously improving accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and accounting regulations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain the general ledger and accounting records
• Train and mentor junior accountants
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls
