About the Role

The Senior Programme Coordinator will lead day‑to‑day management of a multi‑partner gender capacity‑building programme, coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely reporting to donors while fostering partnerships across federal and regional levels.

Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day management of the Joint Programme ensuring alignment with work plans, budgets, and timelines at the federal level
  • Organize and conduct programme meetings, workshops, and review sessions
  • Coordinate with UN Women, UNFPA, MoWSA, BoWSAs, and sector ministries to ensure effective delivery
  • Facilitate mid‑term exchange meetings between the Federal and selected regional bureaus and partners
  • Organise joint field missions in consultation with MOWSA and Regional BOWSA
  • Track and report on key programme indicators at outcome and output levels
  • Monitor implementation of interventions and submit timely progress reports to donors
  • Liaise with MoWSA, BoWSAs, sector ministries, and other stakeholders to facilitate coordinated implementation
  • Build and maintain partnerships with national and regional actors
  • Represent the Joint Programme in technical meetings and national forums related to gender equality and empowerment initiatives
