General Accounting Division Head

About the Role

The General Accounting Division Head will oversee all accounting operations at Minaye PLC’s headquarters, ensuring IFRS‑compliant financial reporting, robust internal controls, and efficient processes while leading a high‑performing finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead general accounting operations and ensure IFRS compliance
• Direct month‑end and year‑end closing processes
• Provide financial analysis to executive team
• Act as liaison with auditors, tax authorities and regulators
• Mentor and develop a large finance team
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, treasury functions
• Implement automation and ERP enhancements
• Establish internal control framework
• Ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness
• Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
