Lead and manage the company’s transport and fleet operations, ensuring efficient routing, maintenance, fuel management, regulatory compliance, and driver performance across heavy-duty trucks, domestic vehicles, and construction machinery.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor routes for heavy-duty trucks to Djibouti, ensuring smooth customs clearance
- Schedule daily dispatches for domestic cargo and utility vehicles
- Coordinate deployment of construction machinery and track usage hours
- Maintain GPS tracking and provide status updates
- Establish maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs
- Manage fuel consumption rates and audit usage
- Keep comprehensive fleet history logs
- Renew insurance policies and manage claims
- Ensure compliance with technical inspections and traffic regulations
- Promote driver safety culture and investigate incidents
- Oversee driver performance, overtime, and incentives
