About the Role

The Finance Officer manages all finance and administrative activities for the Woldiya Field Office, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with donor and organizational policies, and supporting procurement, logistics, HR, and risk management functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile bank balances
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and VAT claims
  • Ensure compliance with Mercy Corps financial policies, donor terms and government regulations
  • Support procurement, logistics, and HR functions
  • Assist in budgeting, expenditure tracking and financial reporting
  • Manage day‑to‑day administrative operations and office records
  • Provide risk management support and aid audit processes
