The Financial Inclusion Officer will design, implement, and monitor climate‑responsive, gender‑inclusive digital financial services programs across Ethiopia, building partnerships, expanding VSLA networks, and strengthening market systems to increase resilience for women and youth.
Responsibilities
- Lead market system assessments in financial services
- Design Intervention Concept Notes integrating gender, climate, and conflict sensitivity
- Expand and digitize VSLA networks
- Support partner financial institutions to develop climate‑responsive products
- Strengthen agent networks and consumer protection systems
- Monitor program progress and manage risks
- Build strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, regulators, and community stakeholders
