The Finance Officer oversees all finance, accounting, and administrative functions at the Woldiya Field Office, ensuring accurate transaction recording, compliance with donor and organizational policies, and effective financial reporting to support program delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage field office finance and accounting activities
- Ensure compliance with Mercy Corps financial policies and donor requirements
- Record and reconcile bank transactions
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and VAT claims
- Maintain financial documentation and internal controls
- Support procurement, logistics, and administrative operations
- Assist in budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Participate in audit processes and risk management
