The Accounting and Reporting Coordinator ensures compliant, accurate financial management across Mercy Corps Ethiopia’s field offices, handling ledger entries, audits, payroll, and reporting while supporting compliance with donor and government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and donor regulations
- Ensure accurate financial recording in Navigator system
- Prepare monthly financial diaries and reports
- Support audit processes and prepare responses
- Manage payroll information and termination payments
- Conduct bank reconciliations and budget reviews
- Provide supervisory support to field finance staff
