The Logistics Supervisor ensures optimal operation of MSF facilities by overseeing vehicle, equipment, and infrastructure maintenance, managing logistics teams, coordinating fleet and fuel usage, and maintaining compliance with MSF standards across the Benishangul-Gumuz region.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance logistics activities for vehicles, fuel, and infrastructure
- Monitor non-medical stocks and equipment
- Conduct facility inspections and report anomalies
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance of energy systems
- Lead and manage the logistics team
- Ensure vehicle fleet maintenance and driver compliance
- Track vehicle movements and consumption data
- Process orders and support local purchasing
- Maintain waste disposal and premises upkeep
- Perform maintenance on cold chain, energy, IT, and radio equipment
- Develop rehabilitation plans for mobile clinics and compound
- Prepare monthly sitreps and activity reports
- Coordinate with mechanics and generators
- Manage asset tracking and barcoding
- Ensure fire safety and hibernation stock management
- Conduct performance reviews and training sessions
