The Logistics Manager oversees all logistical operations—construction, transport, supply chain, facility maintenance, and risk management—to support MSF medical assistance projects in Assosa, ensuring efficient project delivery and staff readiness.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and monitor all logistics activities for the project
- Ensure implementation of construction, transport, communication, water & sanitation, vehicle and equipment management
- Maintain supply chain and inventory systems
- Manage contracts, insurances and administrative logistics tasks
- Recruit, train, brief and evaluate logistics staff
- Provide technical guidance on logistics issues
- Develop risk reduction, security and contingency plans
- Prepare monthly reports according to guidelines
