The HPCE Supervisor leads the implementation of Health Promotion Community Engagement strategies in Begi, West Wellega, coordinating community outreach, health education, and surveillance activities to improve early care-seeking and service utilization in a volatile security context.
Responsibilities
- Implement HPCE strategy and workplan with community participation
- Lead and supervise HPCE activities in communities and health facilities
- Organise health awareness sessions for staff
- Design health education materials and participatory methods
- Conduct rapid assessments, surveys and systematic feedback collection
- Support community-based surveillance and data management
- Plan and organise community meetings and mapping
- Analyse monitoring data and produce reports
- Evaluate and develop HP team, including training and coaching
