The Liaison Officer supports MSF’s external administration by managing visas, travel permits, and related documentation for staff in Addis Ababa, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while coordinating with authorities and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely visa, stay, travel, and work permit acquisition for staff
- Maintain up‑to‑date administrative files and confidentiality
- Coordinate with authorities on immigration policies
- Arrange meetings for the Head of Mission or HRCO regarding administrative issues
- Track expat visa dates and RRS notifications
- Prepare and authenticate documents for work permits and residence permits
- Serve as backup for HRM-IMS, Secretary, and Admin Transit roles
