Manage and optimize the supply chain operations for MSF projects in Ethiopia, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and team development while maintaining compliance with MSF standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, establish, and review supply activities and budgets in collaboration with project leaders
- Monitor order processing, local purchase management, warehousing, freight and stock management
- Ensure data availability for inventory reporting and decision‑making
- Lead and develop the project supply team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Conduct market assessments, RFI/RFQ processes, supplier evaluations, and tendering
- Train teams on SOPs and conduct audits with corrective actions
- Develop KPIs and monitor performance reports
- Provide surge support for coverage gaps
- Collaborate with country office to integrate lessons learned and improve supply solutions
